Microwave Cozies: A Perfect Gift for Newlyweds

I recently made these cute 100% cotton microwave bowl cozies for some newlyweds.

I use mine everyday when I microwave my oatmeal. I place the bowl of oatmeal in the cozy and stick them in microwave to heat up. No burnt fingers from touching the hot bowl, just steaming good oats. The perfect breakfast of champions.

You can purchase them at my Green Gable Studio Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/GreenGableStudio or by contacting me at greengablestudio@gmail.com

5 Fairly Recent Finished Objects (or about to be finished objects)

I didn’t disappear permanently. I got busy. Busy knitting. Busy crocheting. Busy writing. Busy working. Busy, busy, busy. But happily busy.

To catch you up quickly.

  1. I got a job, the first in years (that actually pays). I’m working as an administrative assistant at a local church 20 hours a week.
  2. I’m writing my second book…30 chapters and 10 coloring pages in 6 months. Eek! (That’s an excited, yet terrified eek.) Here’s the link to my first book, Hello Beautiful!.
  3. I’m making knit and crochet projects for a local store, Campbell Creek Artisan Shop, for my Etsy shop, GreenGableStudio, for individuals who have commissioned projects and for a future craft show, Marion Made Market, November 16, 2019.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5….Market Bags

It’s Been the Summer of Market Bags

It started with my SIL. She asked me if I could make a blue bag from a pattern she liked on Pinterest, the Sakura Market Bag pattern. I thought, “Sure. I’ll give it a try.” It turned out beautiful. I would highly recommend the pattern. Then she wanted a second one. So I made another one, just like the first.

Next, my daughter asked for one. I decided it would be fun to try to create my own design.

So….I had to make a couple, three for myself.

And a friend asked for one.

Well…I couldn’t leave my other daughters out.

You can see where this headed, right?

Market Bags are now available at my Etsy shop, GreenGableStudio.
